Saturday Fun in the Sun!!!

Yesterday we spent the day running around town. First Paul and Austin got home from their scout camp out. It is a good thing Paul went with them because the camp out was almost a disaster. The leaders had never camped here in Arizona and they did not know where to go. After spending an hour or so looking for a camping spot Paul took them to Lake Pleasant where they pitched their tents at 10 pm. They all had a good time and got a lot done towards their tenderfoot advancement.

Then we went to the boring Sportsman's Expo, which Paul says he will never go to again. We did find out something interesting about the Cardinals football stadium. The expo was where the football field should have been, but there was concrete everywhere. We wondered where the grass was and when we went out the back we saw that they roll the field in and out as needed. It was massive, not turf, but real grass and they roll a 3 - 4 foot deep field in and out.

We went to Cabela's and Paul purchased an electronic training collar for Annie. He wants to really start getting serious about training her for hunting. She is doing good, but he can't wait for the days to get longer so he can spend more time training her.

Lastly, when we got home the kids wanted to go swimming. We thought they were crazy. It was 5:15 at night and 75 degrees, but the water was warm and the kids had a blast. Again, we love the Arizona sun!!!

I can hardly wait to see some real summer weather. It was 46 today and the boys played outside for a while, but 75 soooo jealous.
